The hotel is on a magnificent and incredible location close enough to pubs as well as the surrounding area. Moreover, take a look at Devon Badger Watch, set a 10-15 minute walk from the venue.

The setting was handy, very close to very close to local shops, lovely restaurants, and a beautiful area. The rooms were brand-new and reasonably large, had a hair dryer, a walk-in shower, and bath sheets in the bathroom.

The room had a lovely river view, and the breakfast was great, especially the made-to-order hot dishes that came out steaming and fresh. Everything was clean and thoughtfully arranged, with quality toiletries and complimentary snacks like biscuits and bottled water in the room.
The room was a bit cramped for two. Parking was a hassle. The narrow access leading to the lot only allowed parking in the evening hours, and it was inconvenient to move the car each morning. The tight stairway up to the rooms could be a workout, especially for those older in age.

Is it hype or the real deal?
The superb breakfast with scrambled eggs with smoked salmon made my stay good , while the charming view of the river added extra charm to my mornings.
The parking situation was tricky , with a narrow entrance and a need to move cars every morning, which could be quite inconvenient.

We had a sweet as view over the river, but the bathroom was quite cramped, and the shower could use better sealing. Breakfast was lovely though!

The place was spotless, and I appreciated the free parking. My room was equipped with tea/coffee and a kettle. The bathroom was brilliant, and the staff were especially helpful. The central location was a definite plus, and I enjoyed dining at Mount Lebanon, conveniently located next to the hotel.
